We knew pretty early this year that By the Brook was going to have to be a little different. We had no idea how BIG God’s plans for By the Brook would be. We worked with local media company, Cookeville Creative to broadcast from Cookeville to women all over the world! They were able to join us as individuals in their homes or in small groups in homes and local churches.

We had 542 ladies from 41 states and 7 different countries participate in this year’s Virtual By the Brook. We had about 15-20 small groups happening across the country.

We were able to provide sound bible teaching, reminders about self care & the Five Love Languages, encouraging testimonies from other moms who get it, a coffee talk time for moms to send in questions for our panel to talk about, and a super fun comedy show.

We also had a hand lettering breakout where moms learned a new skill. It’s so important for our self-care to create something new. We were so blessed to have Lacey Tatum of Small Hours Shop teaching us!

Because of your generosity, we were able to share the gospel & 26 women made a commitment for jesus!

Hear from the moms in their own words:

  • "Wow! You all are amazing. So blessed to participate. Cannot wait to share this great content with the moms in our special needs parent support group. You have been a blessing to many and the ripple effect will live long."

  • "I loved that it was virtual and I could still be a part of this from AZ! Still amazed and loved the time spent with you ladies!"

  • "Thank you for all of your hard work. Each message spoke to my heart. I truly couldn’t take notes quick enough."

  • "I absolutely loved all of By the Brook 2020. My favorite parts were spending time with friends having coffee, worshiping, praying for one another, reading favorite scriptures, and being able to tell someone our story and them get it!"
