Spring Prom 2025

Rising Above Ministries hosted its second Spring Prom at Life Church in Cookeville on March 28, 2025. This event, designed especially for individuals with special needs ages 14 and older, was an opportunity to honor the disability community and give them a night full of wonderful memories.

Spring Prom had over 180 attendees with special needs and over 200 volunteers who helped make it a wonderful night for our honored guests. Each guest entered the complimentary event on a red carpet with cheering fans on either side. Thanks to generous donors, this event also included a catered dinner, karaoke, prom favors, a dance floor, and of course, crowns and tiaras for the guests!

Additionally, parents were provided a respite room with games, dinner, and door prizes to help them relax and enjoy the evening.

We are so grateful to the many donors and volunteers, especially Life Church, for their generosity and willingness to go above and beyond to make it a great event!
