Friends of Rising Above,

This year marks a truly special milestone—we are celebrating 20 years of ministry! As we reflect on the past two decades, we are filled with gratitude for all God has done through Rising Above to serve and support families with special needs. What began as a small dream has grown into a vibrant, impactful community reaching across the nation and beyond.As part of this season of growth and reflection, we’ve made an important decision regarding our physical office space in Cookeville. With our lease up for renewal, our team and board spent time in prayer, asking for God’s wisdom about our next steps. Over time, it became clear that much of our work now happens virtually—through our app, our online community, and virtual events that reach families wherever they are.

After thoughtful consideration and guidance, we’ve decided to transition to working remotely for a season. This aligns with how many nonprofits are adapting to better serve their communities in today’s world. We believe this will allow us to be even more flexible, responsive, and innovative as we follow where God is leading us next.

We’re incredibly thankful for the past 8 years in the Wilmoth Building and are especially grateful for our wonderful landlord, Roger Wilmoth, whose support has meant so much. If you're in need of office space in downtown Cookeville, we highly recommend checking it out!
