Night to Shine 2018

Night to Shine 2018...  A total of 537 host churches. 16 countries. 33 denominations represented. 175,000 volunteers. 90,000 Kings & Queens.

What a night in Cookeville!  Over 200 individuals with special needs joined us for an amazing evening of dancing, delicious food, karaoke, limousine rides, and more dancing.  267 volunteers served in numerous capacities as they welcomed and registered our honored guests, styled hair, shined shoes, served as peer buddies, and served food.  We were blown away once again by our beautiful Cookeville community and their love for special-needs families.

We are so grateful to Cookeville Life Church for being so generous and hospitable for the third year in a row, opening their doors and partnering with us to make this event possible.  Pastor Bobby Davis, Barb Tucker, Bob Sotis, Genetta South, Alex Lisic, Joe Cox, and all the rest of the Life Church staff - thank you so much for your servant hearts and the passion you pour into this event each year.  We are already looking forward to 2019.

A huge thank you to Ben Prine, Chick-fil-A Cookeville, and the Chick-fil-A catering team for providing dinner and drinks for all of our honored guests.  The food was absolutely wonderful, and your heart to go above and beyond in your service is even more impressive.  Cookeville is so fortunate to have you as part of this community.

Tyrone Carver served as our DJ again and he always makes the party!  Thank you, Tyrone, for bringing the music and getting us dancing, and for your smile and your heart.

Thank you to the fabulous security team for spending your evening with us, and making us feel so protected and safe.  We failed to get a photo of all of you, but we are so grateful for your service!

Thank you to the veritable army of volunteers that gave of their time, talents, and monetary gifts to make this event all that it was.  Without you we cannot host events of this size, and we are so thankful for every single one of you.

Finally, thank you to every person that attended the prom.  You are wonderfully made, created for a purpose, and destined to glorify God.  Seeing the joy on your faces during this evening was truly a gift in and of itself.  We love Night to Shine!
